Renovation Tips For Flippers - A Condo Walk Through

Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Chris Berger and it’s time for Berger Point.

You know, recently I went out with a buyer and she is looking to flip or resell a condo.

So, what are we looking for?

Well, of course, number one is price, but number two is the ability to resell it.

So, I wanted to go into this condo and show you a couple of things that as a flipper or someone who wants to buy a condo, refinish it and sell it, what you should look for.

Basically when you go into a condo, you’re going to be putting in that $40,000 to $50,000 minimum for a new kitchen, new bathrooms, to brighten up the place.

Also, too, I’ll show you what to look for and what she pointed out to me that she was interested in.

You know, the water tank or the water heater, this is a 40-gallon tank. And most people will look for a little bit more, whether 60 or a family, of course, is going to look for an 80.

But for a condo, generally, 40 gallons for two people is more than adequate.

That’s something to consider.

You know, one thing I like to point out are the walls itself.

Basically, that would have to be sanded down or re-sheetrocked and by doing so, you’d have a flat surface. Most people don’t like this kind of look.

So keep that in mind.

And as one thing that’s pretty fantastic, I don’t know if you can see right out here, but there’s a deer making an appearance — and he’s saying hello.

A nice thing to point out, it really is living in the country, yet you have all the advantages of city living.
